postheadericon Hard Lines; Jenga – review

Will Freeman reviews the latest apps

During Hardlines 'S legacy is not to be overlooked, it still provides a lot of originality. Over a number of different modes of play, which is realized in glorious neon stripes and elegant thumping audio, the player loads with the mastery of a plethora of different strategies and playing styles. Unashamedly retro-fetishistic and surprisingly funny, feels this accessible gem as exciting as the iPhone 's more obscure publications finest.

Also just out is NaturalMotion Games 'digital remake of the classic tabletop Jenga (iPhone, 59p). It would seem impossible that the diminutive iPhone screen could ever rival the tangible clatter of falling blocks at the very core of the real-world version. Yet, thanks to some impressive virtual physics and a great multiplayer mode, NaturalMotion's creation stands out as a worthy alternative to an old favourite.
