postheadericon Study Suggests Virtual Goods Purchasing Differs By Ethnicity

A new study published Friday MocoSpace mobile gaming community suggests that the purchasing behavior of virtual goods can be affected by ethnicity. According to the company, a study of data from 40,000 anonymous players in the mobile social platform revealed that both Caucasians and African Americans during indexed expense of virtual goods. Caucasians, in particular, were responsible for 26 percent of purchases of virtual goods during the study period, although representing only 18 percent of those studied. ...
