Gamescom 2013: the six most talked about games so far
Titanfall and Target are two games journalists discuss the chaos in the largest gaming event in the world
Gamescom is crazy. Several full of video games giant rooms , besieged by 200,000 people, all vying for the practice time - and the booty . While E3 is generally considered the largest industry event , the giant based in Cologne is the truth, the public face of the epicenter game of the year .
walk in the grand spectacle of the plant, I was talking to journalists and developers, ask questions about what they saw and what they wanted to see. Of course, there are many jewelry and low profile indie treasures can be found here , but these are the titles of almost everyone spoke . They may not be the
best games Gamescom , but those who have been raised repeatedly over the past four days. Besides the giant hardened waiting three hours files , cheese pretzels, cos -play and endless noise son , these are the things inside talking about ...
Titanfall (EA, One Xbox , Xbox 360, PC )
look , okay, it's just a sci-fi shooter and is not exactly pushing the boundaries of game design innovation. However, the addition of a double jump rocket, the ability to run along walls , and of course the staff, including mechs Titan add to experience exciting and frantic FPS . Oh, and the application of the mechanical history of the multiplayer experience is very cleverly handled. I love the epilogue sequence at the end of each game. In this case, the losing party in a team-based confrontation must quickly escape a dropship, while trying to pick the winner of all runners . If one of the losers are , get bonus XP, absorb the shock of defeat. Looks like a little more, but it's fun.
shows Dogs (Ubisoft , PS3, PS4 , Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC , Wii U)
After their explosive debut at E3 in 2012, piracy cyberpunk thriller was forgotten for a while. Some began to wonder if it was a generic science - fiction festival lies in convincing the idea of ??a character that can be entered into the smart phones and the infrastructure of the city. But the playable demo at Gamescom demo reveals fascinating asymmetric multiplayer mode that arises in the single player campaign , allowing participants paired randomly to participate in the style of cat and mouse face- offs. A player must mingle with the crowd , trying to get close enough to cut the PDA of your opponent, while the mouse is escaping. Ubisoft showed the companion app , allowing tablet owners to play the game of another player as a police helicopter . While console gamers is to escape from a car, the participant tablet directs police vehicles to its picturesque location with items such as drawbridges and traffic bollards to stop . Smart things .
- destination ( Activision , PS3, PS4 , Xbox 360, Xbox One)
- Bungie is still quite shy about their gorgeous ambitious MMO shooter that takes place in a future version of our solar system. The Gamescom trailer shows some new small pieces Videos - A Brain -apocalyptic full of rusty cars on an exotic landscape of shades of pink , lots of combat. Apart from this , we hear more about how public events nest perfectly in solo and co -op campaigns , allowing players to collide with the objectives of other groups , united in the task of acquiring additional experience . But how these events are mixed with raids, strikes and campaign missions , we're not quite sure . Everything looks so beautiful, and the idea of ??bringing other squads of soldiers involved in their private wars is strangely compelling.
Everyone was very low on this at E3, where shots available seem to suggest the installation much more courageous and more standardized serial adventure zombie. But the Cologne demonstration went well , including the intelligent integration of glass that allows players to Xbox One for your phone in the game so that the missions and objectives are effectively delivered through phone calls . You have a game to call and say your leg zombie-infested building, this is the future.
Murasaki Baby ( Sony / Ovosonico , PS Vita )
